Youth Leadership Program
At the Asian Community and Cultural Center (ACCC), we are working with youths to cultivate a positive change in our community. Our goal is to help Asian youth in Lincoln maintain their identity and become more successful. In addition, the program focuses on:
- Leadership
- Community Involvement
- Career and Scholarship
Our Youth Leadership Program (YLP) has recently undergone some changes. Currently we are meeting on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00.
At the end of each year the Asian Community and Cultural Center awards four $500 scholarships, which are open to all Asian students graduating from a Lincoln High School. For more information send an email or call 402-477-3446.
Summer Immersion Program
Last year's summer program for kids was a great experience for everyone. The kids did a great job giving a little 'concert' at the end for all of their parents about what they learned about many different Asian cultures. Keep an eye out in the spring for information about next year's immersion program.
